Lincoln Peirce is a very successful cartoonist Lincoln Peirce was born on October 23, 1963 in Ames,Iowa. Lincoln Peirce is the author an illustrator of Big Nate probably his most popular book series, it is so popular it is in almost in every library that I have ever been to.

1.His books were so popular that they made a show about it

2.His books made it to New York Times Bestseller List

3. Lincoln’s comic debuted in 1991 in 135 newspapers

Book club questions

I would reread Big Nate in a Class by Himself because it has a great plot the plot is that big Nate wakes up thinking the is a test so dashes out of the door but then decides to skip school but finds out there is no test and realizes that he left his lunch at home.

I liked Nate the most because he gets yelled at a lot just like me.My least favorite is Gina because she seems like a manipulative person .

Yes,the book felt very real to me because it is realistic fiction .  It is some of the exact same things have happened to me.

I relate to Nate because he gets in trouble sometimes for the silliest reasons.I can empathize with Nate because he will get in so much trouble like me .

Book Club Update

Today I continued big Nate chapter 4 – 5 It started with how Nate met teddy and talking about all the periods he has and rates the teachers .I personally love this book and think you should read it!

BIG NATE CLUB

My Book Club is reading Big Nate in a Class by Himself .The people in my book club are Me, Steele, Ethan, Joshua, Micaiah, and Kennedy .Today we read until chapter 2.

The Characters we meet are  Nate, Gina ,Francis and Miss Godfrey.

Books

the book I  just finished is The Son of Neptune by : Rick Riordan. It has some of the same characters as the Percy Jackson series . The Son of Neptune is the second book of the series THE HEROES OF  OLYMPUS. In the Son of Neptune, Hera erases Percy’s memory and switches him with Jason. Then he goes to Jason old camp, Camp Jupiter and makes friend with Hazel and Frank.As soon as he get to camp the gorgons attack and he gets claimed by Neptune. They later get a quest to go to Alaska where hazel used to live in 1940.They beat the giant and free Thanotos the keeper of the doors of death who when he is freed claim all who are supposed to be dead except Hazel who already died in 1940 and they get the missing eagle. They go back with the eagle and the rest of the giant had raided Percy and Terminus beat the giants and all of Percy’s memory comes back. He learn that in the next book his friends and Jason come back to Jason’s old camp.

Soccer

Last Tuesday we had soccer practice. At practice we played 3v3’s.Then we practiced shooting, after we added passes on to the shots.

Then we did some matches, my team was Steele, Landon, and me.First I played Eli’s team the score was 2-0. Next we played Eric’s team we tied 0-0. Then Grayton and Sam.They beat us 3 to 1 🙁 , but then we did close touches.After we had a rematch against Grayton and Sam!  I scored 2 amazing goals. Then Steele score a wonderful chip into the goal.then from the block Landon scored a  stunning goal, then grayton scored. But we still won thanks to me carrying my team to victory! With  help from Landon and Steele.Then we played a few more matches. After, practice ended.

I’ll finish up with a bit of information, our coach is Coach Stone and we have practice every Tuesday and Thursday. It is open to both Girls and Boys. We are have practices but, the first official practice is supposedly on Halloween week.
